Ciara Iglehart came to Biola in August 2019 after holding a head coaching position last year for Tus Bad Aibling in the German Bundesliga I professional league. Iglehart also played in Germany during one of her professional stops, winning the Bundesliga Championship in 2014 and averaging 15.3 points per game and 11.2 rebounds while earning finals MVP. Her other professional stop was in the Dominican Republic, where she was named league MVP in the year she average 19.3 ppg and 11.1 rpg.
Iglehart's professional career followed a hall of fame caliber stint at Saddleback College that garnered the recruiting interest of NCAA DI Ohio University. Iglehart was first team all-conference and second team all-state both years at Saddleback and helped her team advance to the state regional finals her freshman year. She went onto average eight points and five rebounds as a senior at Ohio and earned her bachelors in retail merchandise with a minor in business.
From there, Iglehart’s studies zeroed in on coaching. She earned a masters in sports psychology in 2011 and is currently working on her doctorate in advanced human behavior.
